Ambulance Driver Charged With Reckless Driving | Manassas Reckless Driving Attorney
A Petersburg, VA driver whose ambulance was struck by a car fleeing polic has been charged with reckless driving.
The Virginia State Police said the ambulance driver was trying to prevent a suspect from fleeing police, and in doing so operated the vehicle in a reckless manner.
Kevin D. Foster was fleeing police after being pulled over for having a fake inspection sticker. According to the police report, Mark Talbott saw the pursuit and put the ambulance in position to stop the fleeing car.
No patients were in the ambulance, though a passenger was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The ambulance received minor damage.
Talbott told WTVR that he plans to fight the charges.
