Car Crashes into WJFK building during Sports Junkies Broadcast | Fairfax Reckless Driving Attorney
The Sports Junkies radio show on 106.7 WJFK had a lot more to talk about on Thursday morning that just sports. At about 7:45 a.m., a Honda Civic crashed into the WJFK offices at 10800 Main Street in Fairfax City. With the building so close to Main Street, the Honda did not have to travel far off the road to strike the windows of the building ending up inside one of the offices. Luckily, nobody was hurt in this incident. The driver of the Honda 59-year-old Nazir Zia told Fairfax City police that he was trying to avoid a pedestrian when he swerved off Main Street. For losing control of his vehicle, the driver was charged with failing to maintain control of his vehicle.
“We heard just a deafening explosion type of sound.” – John Auville, a radio personality at 106.7
