DWI News: Off-Duty Police Officer Charged with DUI | Manassas DWI Lawyer

An off-duty Onley, VA police officer was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated or DWI.

State police said Mark Joseph Whitney, of Chincoteague, VA pulled out onto Route 13 from Route 695 and hit a Toyota Tundra that was also traveling on Route 13. Whitney, who was driving a 2005 Subaru Impreza, did not have the right of way, according to state police.

Police said the driver of the Tundra, Kenneth Lane Jones, of Norge, VA sustained only minor injuries.
