Road Rage on I-95: Driver shoots at dump truck 13 times | Prince William Reckless Driving Attorney

An incident of road rage involving gunfire occurred on March 23, 2010 during evening rush hour when a dump truck tried to merge into traffic on southbound I-95 in the Woodbridge/Dumfries area. The details of the event are not clear but apparently both drivers became aggressive while traveling on I-95 south for several miles. The dump truck reportedly struck the Jaguar twice during the encounter and the driver of the Jaguar became upset. This event of road rage turned extremely violent when the 25-year-old man driving the Jaguar ultimately stopped while both vehicles were stuck in heavy traffic, got out of his car, pulled out a gun, and started shooting at the dump truck 13 times. The driver of the Jaguar had his 2-year-old daughter in the car and fortunately she was not injured.

The dump truck driver has been charged with reckless driving while the driver of the Jaguar was arrested at the scene with charges pending.
