Woman Knocks Down Highway Sign, Fairfax County Parkway to be Closed for the Day | Fairfax Reckless Driving Attorney
At around 3:45 this morning, a woman fell asleep at the wheel, crossed over the median and struck a pole on Fairfax County Parkway near Sydenstricker.
While the driver wasn’t seriously hurt, an overhead sign fell. Southbound Fairfax County Parkway past Hooes Road could be shut down for the rest of the day.
While falling asleep at the wheel seems to be a frequent occurrence, be careful—it could be considered Reckless Driving, which as we all know, is a serious offense in Virginia.
If you or someone you know has been in an accident or charged with Reckless Driving, the situation may be more serious than you think. For a free initial consultation, contact the Parrish Law Firm to discuss your rights and options.
